Remember when cell phones first came out and they were like having a lead weight hanging on your side? Most of the early models you had to remove from a belt clip and then raise the little antenna to just to use it. Back then all you could do is make and receive calls and the service area was very limited.
We have come a very long way in cellular technology! I finally got with the current century by upgrading to a new cell phone. The past three years I have been very comfortable with my Nokia flip phone. It did what I needed it to and even had Internet and text messaging but was very limited in other features. I just do not like changing phones since it always seems such a hassle.
In my office all the ministers have Apple I Phones, except me. I have been holding out with my flip phone doing just fine. I see people everywhere palming their phones looking at the Internet, text messaging, watching movies, and playing with all sorts of gadgets. Everywhere I go I see IPhones and people looking down at them while doing something on them. Look up people!
OK! I gave in the other day and got into the 21st century with a new cell phone. My son, the Symbian-Guru has been a cell phone guru forever and has been on me for years to upgrade. So….I did!
I am now the proud owner of a Motorola Back Flip which is awesome and really is nice. I told my son that if I did not get an IPhone that mine better be as good or better than one or my colleagues will razz me to no end! I think the Back Flip will give the IPhone a big run for the money.

Welcome to 2010 Rick!
Your comments? Do you have a cell phone other than the IPhone and how do you like it?
